The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT)
A professional body for Registered Nutrition Practitioners. Its primary function is to assist its members in attaining the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professional practice, in order to protect the client’s interests, nutritional therapy and the Registered Nutrition Practitioners.

Complementary & natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
CNHC is the UK register for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up in 2008 with government funding and support.
Their key purpose is to protect the public: they hold a UK register of complementary health practitioners who have met UK standards. CNHC registrants work in private practice, the NHS and a wide range of other health and care settings.
CNHC is also the holder of an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament.
